Offering Wisdom, Power, Control

""
Wisdom, Power, Control is available to organizations meeting the following requirements:

  1. Establish a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service that stipulates the criteria for delivering Wisdom, Power, Control.
  2. After the MOU is formalized, schedule a class leader training for medical professionals who will conduct Wisdom, Power, Control. Class leaders’ trainings are half-day events geared for experienced diabetes self-management educators. A recommended teaching team includes a registered nurse, a registered dietitian, and/or certified diabetes educator.
  3. As part of adopting the program, there is a cost for the class leader manual and the curriculum kit that contains instructional materials.
