Fall Prevention for Older Adults
What is a Fall?
A fall is an unintentional loss of balance causing one to make unexpected contact with the ground or floor.
A fall is a terrible accident in the life of an older person. Often damage is done, both physically and emotionally, that cannot be undone. No matter if it is caused by stumbling feet or body weakness, a fall may be completely preventable. Simple, low-impact exercises or merely kepping the area around your feet clear could make a great deal difference in the quality and the number of years left in life.
