Vita Roth is an Extension Assistant with the Wi$eUp – Financial Planning for Generation X & Y Women program. Wi$eUp is a financial education initiative of the U.S. Department of Labor–Women’s Bureau. Vita assists in producing an e-newsletter and maintaining the Wi$eUp Women website. Additionally, she researches and develops materials to empower Generation X and Y women in the handling of their finances. She also contributes in the research and development of materials for the 4-H Consumer Decision-Making Contest.

Vita holds a B.S. degree from Sam Houston State University in Family and Consumer Science. She has been part of the Family Development and Resource Management Unit since February 2006 and is a member of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service Specialists’ Association.
