Lori Reed serves as Extension Assistant with the Family Development and Resource Management department, specifically working with the Cancer Prevention and Risk Reduction Education Program.
Lori holds a B.L.S. degree in Liberal Studies from the University of Oklahoma. A product of an Extension family, Lori began her career with Extension in Fannin County, serving as County Extension Agent – Family and Consumer Sciences.
Lori provides program support for East Region Extension agents, helping them implement cancer prevention, risk reduction and early detection programming, such as Walk Across Texas, Towards No Tobacco, Balance Food and Play, Cultivando la Salud, and Hallelujah to Health. She will also serve as a resource for health fairs, summer safety camps, community presentations, Students Winning Against Tobacco Leadership Lab, and other programs focused on cancer prevention, risk reduction, and early detection.
