Kelsey Hill serves as regional program support for Extension agents in the South Region to implement externally funded projects focused on cancer prevention, risk reduction, and early detection. Kelsey will coordinate and assist with activities such as Walk Across Texas, Towards No Tobacco, Balance Food and Play, Cultivando la Salud, and Hallelujah to Health, as well as health fairs, summer safety camps, community presentations, Students Winning Against Tobacco Leadership Lab, and other programs focused on cancer prevention, risk reduction, and early detection. Her duties also include assisting agents with finding and training Master Wellness Volunteers to extend project outreach.
Kelsey earned a Bachelor’s degree from Eastern New Mexico University in Family and Consumer Sciences – Secondary Education. She was a county Extension agent in Bee County from 2008–2010, as the Family and Consumer Sciences/4-H agent.
