Dr. Jenna Anding is an Associate Professor and Extension Associate Department Head for the Department of Nutrition and Food Science. She provides administrative oversight for the Extension Foods and Nutrition unit programs and is the Principle Investigator for the Food Stamp Nutrition Education program. In addition, Jenna provides support in the areas of food safety and food security/hunger. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association, the International Association for Food Protection, and the National Environmental Health Association.

A native of Bastrop, Texas, Anding’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education (teaching option), and Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Nutrition—all from Texas A&M University. In addition to being certified as a secondary educator in Vocational Agriculture and Biology, she is also a registered and licensed dietitian with both clinical and community experiences.
