Donna Martin is the Military Program Director for the Texas AgriLife Extension Service, beginning her career with Extension in 1988 as an Extension agent at Fort Bliss in El Paso. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics from Texas Tech University and a Master’s of Science degree from the University of Texas. Donna holds a social work license in Texas.

As a member of the the Texas AgriLife Extension Service unit at Fort Bliss, she helped with the production of the video, Every 15 Seconds, which won the 1996 National Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Award for Best Instructional Video. The Fort Bliss unit also received recognition by the Army for surpassing all Family Advocacy Program standards. She has also been a team member for Extension awards for the 4-H military program.

Donna has received the Commander’s Award for Public Service and the Department of the Army Certificate of Appreciation for Service during Desert Storm, along with other Fort Bliss commendations. Currently, she supervises programming at Fort Bliss, Fort Hood, and Fort Sam Houston. Donna is a member of Texas Leadership Class of 2007.
